Following the extraordinary success of Karen LeFrak’s eight previous peaceful piano albums which have been streamed more than 25 million times, Karen returns with a collection of 10 short peaceful piano works performed by Jacques van Tuinen. The eponymous track features a haunting melody that evokes the partial shadow of a penumbra – the hazy, enigmatic space between darkness and light.
